Job summary

Deutsche Bank is seeking a seasoned UX lead to design and implement AI-driven user experiences within its Hybrid Cloud Infrastructure team. You will drive the UX vision, prototype in Figma, and collaborate across product, design, and engineering to translate complex AI capabilities into intuitive interfaces.

You will contribute to design thinking sessions, work with senior stakeholders, and ensure accessibility and performance across web platforms.

Qualifications

3+ years building enterprise-grade digital products
Strong user-centered design, design thinking, interaction design, IA, user research, journey mapping, service design
Proficient in Figma and prototyping business requirements into demos
Experience designing conversational interfaces, copilots, AI assistants, and AI workflows
Strong experience with Angular, React.js, Hooks, Context API, and modern JS/TS
Strong product mindset and ability to integrate frontends with APIs
Foundational HTML5, CSS3, SCSS, responsive design, accessibility
Familiar with Agile/DevOps practices, Git, Jenkins, Jira
Basic understanding of AI concepts and UX implications
Strong communication, presentation, and storytelling skills
Experience with Google Cloud architecture for production workflows
Experience integrating AI products with UI/UX
Portfolio showing minimalistic UI/UX design
Experience in financial services or global institutions (preferable)

Work with the product owner and product teams to understand required customer experiences
Lead and define the UX and UI vision for products and solutions
Create and grow a strong UX culture within engineering-led product teams

Influence product requirements to incorporate UX early in project lifecycles
Rapidly and iteratively prototype solutions in Figma
Create wireframes, prototypes, mockups, user flows, service blueprints, and interaction designs
Translate complex infrastructure, cloud, and AI capabilities into simple, intuitive, adoptable user experiences
Work closely with senior business and technology leaders to shape product direction
Explain architectural decisions, trade-offs, and risks to technical and non-technical stakeholders
Collaborate with product managers and senior stakeholders to shape requirements and manage delivery expectations
Leverage AI tools to enhance productivity and optimize workflows while applying critical judgment to AI outputs

Requirements

3+ years building enterprise-grade digital products
Strong understanding of user-centered design, design thinking, interaction design, information architecture, user research, journey mapping, and service design
Highly proficient in Figma and able to prototype business requirements into workable demos
Designed conversational interfaces, copilots, AI assistants, and agentic workflows
Strong experience with Angular, React.js, Hooks, Context API, and modern JavaScript/TypeScript
Strong innovative and 'product-mindset'
Experience integrating frontends with APIs or data-driven interfaces
Strong foundation in HTML5, CSS3, SCSS, responsive design, and accessibility
Understanding of UI performance, accessibility, and usability considerations
Experience with Agile/DevOps, Git, Jenkins, and Jira
Basic understanding of AI concepts
Strong knowledge of UX principles and methodologies
Comfortable operating in high-ambiguity, fast-moving environments
Strong communication skills
Strong presentation and storytelling skills
Proven ability to work closely with product managers and senior stakeholders
Proven ability to leverage AI tools responsibly and ethically
Experience with Google Cloud technology, particularly component architecture required to deploy an application workflow in production (preferable but not mandatory)
Experience integrating AI products with UI/UX solutions (preferable but not mandatory)
Design portfolio demonstrating simplistic, minimalistic UI and UX design (preferable but not mandatory)
Previous experience in financial services and/or global institutions (preferable but not mandatory)

Core Competencies

Demonstrates expertise in user-centered design and interaction design, with strong proficiency in Figma for prototyping and a solid foundation in modern web technologies such as Angular and React.js. Capable of leading UX initiatives and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver AI-driven solutions in fast-paced environments.
