Job summary

Role Overview

As a UI/UX Designer, you will be responsible for designing end-to-end user experiences across web and mobile products. You will work closely with Product Managers, Engineers and business stakeholders to understand user needs, translate requirements into meaningful experiences, and deliver high-quality UI designs.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end UI/UX design process, from research and user flows to wireframes, prototypes and final UI.
• Understand product and business requirements and translate them into simple, intuitive user experiences.
• Create user journeys, information architecture, wireframes, prototypes and high-fidelity designs.
• Design responsive interfaces for web and mobile applications.
• Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Developers and other stakeholders throughout the product lifecycle.
• Conduct user research, competitor analysis and usability studies to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Develop and maintain design systems, UI components and design guidelines.
• Create interactive prototypes to communicate design concepts and validate user flows.
• Use data, user feedback and product analytics to continuously improve experiences.
• Ensure consistency across different products, platforms and user touchpoints.
• Work closely with developers during implementation to ensure the final product matches the intended design.
• Present design decisions and recommendations clearly to product and business stakeholders.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of professional experience in UI/UX/Product Design.
• Strong hands-on experience with Figma.
• Strong understanding of UX principles, user-centred design and usability.
• Experience creating user flows, wireframes, prototypes and high-fidelity UI designs.
• Strong knowledge of responsive web and mobile design.
• Experience working with or creating design systems and reusable components.
• Good understanding of typography, colour, spacing, visual hierarchy and interaction design.
• Ability to simplify complex workflows into intuitive user experiences.
• Strong understanding of usability and accessibility principles.
• Experience working in an Agile/Product development environment.
• Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• A strong portfolio demonstrating real-world product design work.

Good to Have

• Experience in travel, e-commerce, marketplace, SaaS or consumer internet products.
• Experience designing complex booking, search, checkout or payment journeys.
• Understanding of product analytics and A/B testing.
• Basic understanding of HTML/CSS and front-end development constraints.
• Experience working with design tokens and scalable design systems.
• Experience designing for multiple user personas and platforms.
