Qualifications

UI/UX Designer – Web and Mobile Apps (India)

Part-time (with potential to become full-time), India

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented UI/UX Designer with at least 2 years of proven experience in designing mobile applications for React Native platforms. The ideal candidate has strong design sensibilities, excellent command of Figma , and a deep understanding of creating intuitive, engaging, and user-centered digital experiences.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing user interfaces and experiences for both mobile and web applications, ensuring consistency, usability, and aesthetic appeal across products. This is a remote, part-time position with the possibility to evolve into a full-time role depending on performance and company needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Design user interfaces and experiences for mobile and web applications, primarily targeting React Native development.
• Develop high-fidelity UI mockups, wireframes, and interactive prototypes in Figma.
• Collaborate closely with developers, project managers, and stakeholders to ensure seamless design implementation.
• Help to conduct user research, usability testing, and design reviews to validate and improve design quality.
• Create and maintain design systems, style guides, and UI components ensuring brand consistency.
• Analyze user feedback and analytics to continuously improve usability and design efficiency.
• Stay current with design trends, emerging tools, and UX best practices.
• Work effectively using team collaboration tools such as Slack, Jira or Asana for communication and project coordination.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of proven experience as a UI/UX Designer, preferably for mobile apps built on React Native.
• Excellent proficiency in Figma (required) — including design systems, prototyping, and component libraries.
• Strong understanding of mobile design principles, responsive layouts, and cross-platform compatibility.
• Experience conducting user research and usability testing.
• Knowledge of basic front-end design standards (React Native or web-based) is an advantage.
• Familiarity with project management tools (Asana, Jira) and team communication platforms (Slack, Microsoft Teams).
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• Creative mindset with excellent attention to detail and visual aesthetics.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects independently.
• Open to AI-assisted design tools (such as Figma AI, ChatGPT for UX copywriting, etc.).

Location

India (remote, with occasional in-person meetings depending on location).
