We are seeking an experienced Senior UI Architect to define, lead, and evolve the frontend technology roadmap for our mission-critical enterprise applications. In this strategic role, you will be the primary authority on frontend design systems, architectural patterns, state management, and build ecosystems.
You will work closely with enterprise product management, cloud engineering, and frontend teams to deliver scalable, secure, and performant web platforms. While embracing modern AI-assisted engineering workflows, you will champion technical depth, critical thinking, and rigorous architectural validation to ensure our systems remain resilient, maintainable, and aligned with enterprise standards.
Architectural Leadership: Define and govern end-to-end frontend architecture, design systems, module federation/micro-frontends, and state management strategies across enterprise React applications.
Technology Roadmap & Standards: Establish UI coding standards, testing strategies (unit, integration, E2E), security benchmarks (OWASP for web), and continuous performance optimization protocols.
System Integration: Collaborate with backend and platform teams to design clean, efficient, and typed API contracts (REST, GraphQL, gRPC-Web) and streaming interfaces.
Mentorship & Team Uplift: Coach senior engineers and leads, run architectural review boards (ARBs), and drive technical excellence across distributed engineering squads.
AI-Augmented Development Governance: Formulate best practices and guardrails for incorporating AI-assisted tooling (e. g., Copilot, LLM-based accelerators) into the software lifecycle, ensuring engineers preserve code clarity, architectural integrity, and security without blind reliance on generated snippets.
Code Health & Quality: Oversee the adoption of automated code analysis, static linting, and quality gates using tools such as Codex, SonarQube, or equivalent platforms.
Cloud & DevOps Alignment: Partner with DevOps to optimize frontend deployment pipelines, containerization workflows, and ingress patterns for containerized frontend services.
Experience: 10+ years of hands-on software development experience with at least 4+ years dedicated to frontend architecture and technical leadership.
Enterprise Architecture: Proven track record of designing large-scale distributed frontend architectures (Micro-frontends, Monorepos via Turborepo/Nx, Module Federation).
AI & LLM Fluency: Practical experience leveraging AI-assisted development tooling and LLMs for developer productivity, paired with deep technical reasoning to dissect, validate, and refactor generated code.
Code Governance: Proven background with code-quality and automated review tooling (Codex, static code analyzers, CI/CD automated review bots).
Soft Skills: Outstanding communication, stakeholder management, executive technical storytelling, and consensus-building capabilities.
Working knowledge of cloud deployment environments, specifically AWS EKS (Kubernetes), ingress controllers, Docker containerization for frontends, and CDN edge computing (CloudFront/Lambda@Edge).
Contributions to enterprise design systems or open-source frontend tooling.
