Job summary

Wroots Global in Chennai is seeking a Technology Support Specialist with strong experience in OpenText UFT One to join our automation team. You will design, build, and maintain automated tests for Web, Desktop, SAP, Mainframe, and API applications.

The role focuses on developing robust frameworks in VBScript, executing tests, and ensuring quality throughout the SDLC. You will work closely with development and QA to report defects and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience with OpenText UFT / UFT One (HP QTP)
• Strong knowledge of VBScript
• Experience in automation framework development and maintenance
• Expertise in functional, regression, smoke, and integration testing
• Experience with Object Repository, Descriptive Programming, Recovery Scenarios, and Shared Object Repository
• Hands-on experience with ALM / Quality Center
• Knowledge of test lifecycle and defect management

Responsibilities
