Lloyds Advance Defense System Limited is seeking an experienced UAV Pilot to support UAV build, integration, configuration and flight testing. You will work with FPV/multirotor platforms, focusing on high-speed flight and precise tuning for product development.

The role requires strong hands-on skills, knowledge of Betaflight/ArduPilot/PX4/iNav, and disciplined flight-test practices. You will collaborate with engineering teams and maintain thorough flight records and safety documentation.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 3+ years hands-on FPV/multirotor UAV experience.
• Proven ability to fly high-speed FPV and various multirotor sizes.
• Strong practical experience in UAV assembly, configuration, tuning and troubleshooting.
• Flight-controller configuration and flight-log analysis are mandatory.
• Solid knowledge of UAV electronics, propulsion, RC/telemetry, GPS/GNSS, IMU, EKF and GCS.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced UAV Pilot with strong hands‑on expertise in FPV and multirotor UAVs to support UAV build, integration, configuration, flight testing, troubleshooting, and product development.

The candidate should combine strong flying skills with a solid technical understanding of flight controllers, firmware, propulsion, ESCs, batteries, GPS/GNSS, telemetry, communication systems, sensors and GCS.

Key Responsibilities

• Fly, demonstrate and flight-test small, medium and large FPV/multirotor UAVs in manual, assisted and autonomous modes.
• Build, configure, integrate, tune and test UAV platforms for product development.
• Configure Betaflight, ArduPilot, PX4, iNav or equivalent flight-control systems.
• Perform PID/rate tuning, firmware updates, parameter configuration and failsafe setup.
• Integrate motors, ESCs, propellers, batteries, GPS, telemetry, radios, cameras and payloads.
• Conduct pre-flight/ground checks and structured flight testing for stability, endurance, range and payload performance.

Required Experience & Skills

• 3+ years of hands‑on FPV/multirotor UAV experience.
• Proven experience flying high‑speed FPV and small/medium/large multirotors.
• Strong practical experience in UAV assembly, configuration, tuning and troubleshooting.
• Flight-controller configuration and flight-log analysis are mandatory.
• Good knowledge of UAV electronics, propulsion, RC/telemetry, GPS/GNSS, IMU, EKF and GCS.
• Strong safety awareness and disciplined flight-test practices.
• Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary engineering teams.

Preferred

• Defence, aerospace, industrial UAV or professional flight-test experience.
• Experience with fixed-wing UAVs, autonomous navigation, payload integration and field trials.
• Familiarity with aerospace development standards such as DO-178C, DO-254, DO-160 and ARP4761A.

Education:

Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech / M.Tech in relevant engineering disciplines. Strong practical UAV experience may be considered in lieu of formal qualifications.
