Job summary

NTT DATA is seeking a Technical Services Implementation Engineer (L2) to ensure client requirements align with SLAs. You will perform configurations, installations, and break/fix actions, with emphasis on problem resolution and customer engagement.

The role involves documentation, project administration, and occasional second-line support on the service desk, with on-site work in Mumbai. A technical degree is required and prior client-facing experience is expected.

Responsibilities

• Own larger portions of an installation and handle break/fix incidents of low to medium complexity.
• Lead problem resolution and troubleshooting activities.
• Respond to escalated client requests and support client applications to first-line resolution.
• Escalate complex problems to third parties when needed.
• Assist with documenting standard operating procedures for installations and fixes.
• Compile and maintain project administration records.
• Deliver elementary presentations within the customer's organization.
• May perform periodic telephonic duty on the technical service desk for second-line support.
• Take ownership of relevant technologies according to domain or specialization.

Your day at NTT DATA

The primary responsibility of the Technical Services Implementation Engineer (L2) is to ensure that client solution requirements are resolved in line with Service Level Agreements (SLA). They perform configurations, action installations and attend to break/fix events.

What you'll be doing

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

• Own larger portions of an installation, break/fix incidents at a low to medium level of complexity.
• Take responsibility for problem resolution and troubleshooting.
• Respond to escalated client requests and support client applications to a first line resolution.
• Escalate complex problems to the relevant third parties.
• Assist with the documentation of standard operating procedures relating to installations and fixes.
• Compile and maintain project administration.
• Conduct elementary presentations within the customer's organisation.
• May be required to perform periodic telephonic duty on the technical service desk, providing second line telephonic support to customers.
• Expected to take ownership of relevant technologies according to domain or specialization.

Academic Qualifications and Certifications:

• Computer Science / Information Technology Degree or equivalent together with specialised training in new technologies and legacy systems or equivalent

Required Experience:

• Moderate level of years experience in a technical implementation engineering or similar role
• Demonstrated experience engaging with clients and conducting presentations
• Demonstrated project administration and documentation experience
