Job summary

Smaalt Recruitment Solutions in Mumbai seeks a Chartered Accountant with 10-15 years of experience, including at least 5 years in treasury, to manage cash, liquidity and funding across group entities. You will deploy surplus funds per policy, hedge FX/commodities, and report performance to Directors.

Expertise in FEMA, transfer pricing and Indian company law, plus hands-on treasury systems experience, is required. The role leads a small treasury team and interfaces with banks.

Qualifications

• CA with 10–15 years of experience, including at least 5 years in treasury; CFA or MBA in finance also acceptable.
• Experience running treasury for a multi-entity group with cross-border operations.
• Working knowledge of FEMA, transfer pricing and Indian company law.
• Hands-on experience with FX and commodity hedging.
• Strong grasp of Indian money-market and fixed-income instruments.
• High integrity and discretion, and the confidence to push back with numbers.
• Background in precious metals or commodities in a financial-services group.
• Experience implementing a treasury management system.
