Job summary

Job description

The Treasury Analyst will support day-to-day treasury operations, including liquidity tracking, banking coordination, FX monitoring, trade finance documentation, and regulatory compliance for the India business. The role will work closely with the Treasury Manager, banks, and internal finance teams to ensure smooth funding operations and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Liquidity & Cash Flow Management

• Participate in bank loan and cash flow discussions with internal stakeholders
• Support short-term funding planning and liquidity monitoring
• Coordinate intercompany fund transfers and bank reconciliations

Banking & Credit Facility Management

• Track utilization of working capital limits, LCs, BGs & other facilities
• Support renewal of existing bank facilities
• Assist in preparation of loan documentation and security creation processes
• Handle quarterly / monthly bank compliance submissions and respond to bank queries
• Maintain facility trackers including headroom and covenant monitoring

Export & Regulatory Compliance

• Manage Export Data Processing and Monitoring System (EDPMS) closure documentation
• Ensure RBI & FEMA compliance for trade and FX transactions

FX & Forward Contract Management

• Track INR exposure for import/export transactions
• Execute and monitor forward contracts (FWD contract management)
• Maintain hedge register and prepare FX exposure MIS
• Support FX deal documentation and reporting

Bank Account & Operational Treasury Management

• Manage bank account operations including new account opening
• Coordinate change in authorized signatories and bank mandate updates
• Maintain updated records of banking documentation
• Ensure smooth coordination with banks for operational matters

Reporting & Governance

• Prepare treasury MIS for management review
• Support lender reporting and audit requirements
• Ensure adherence to internal treasury policies and payment controls
• Coordinate with finance, procurement, and sales teams for documentation support

Candidate Profile

• CA
• 2-3 years of experience in corporate treasury / banking operations / trade finance
• EDPMS closure
• Working capital limits & LC handling
• Basic knowledge of RBI regulations & FEMA compliance
• Experience with SAP / ERP preferred
• Good coordination and communication skills
