Job summary

BCD Travel in Mumbai is seeking a Travel Consultant who will be the face of our client services, handling international corporate travel requests and delivering expert guidance to travelers and clients.

You will work with Amadeus GDS, ensure policy compliance, manage visas and regulatory requirements, and seek ways to optimize travel programs. A strong customer-service mindset and fluent English are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in travel management for international corporate clients.
• Able to assist corporate customers with day-to-day travel needs.
• Strong knowledge of travel policies, procedures and processes.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Search and confirm travel reservations for clients.
• Advise on client travel policies and provide consultation.
• Handle regulations (DOT, TSA, visas, passports).
• Provide industry info on fares, exchange costs and penalties.
• Identify opportunities to improve client processes and relationships.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of travel industry trends.

As a Travel Consultant, you are the face of our company. You’ll communicate and respond to requests for current and new clients, helping them travel smart and achieve more. Do you communicate effortlessly and have customer service at heart? – Read on!

What You'll Do

• Search and confirm travel reservations for the customer
• Have a strong understanding of a client travel policy and can consistently provide consultation to the customer
• Fulfill all requests regarding necessary regulations (DOT, TSA, passports, visas, etc.)
• Provide the client with the required industry information, such as low fares, exchange costs, and penalties
• Seek opportunities to review operational processes and commercial relationships with client to provide suggestions for improvement
• Maintain, actively communicate, and seek expansion of current knowledge of the state of the various travel industries supported

What You'll Bring

• Prior travel management experience with an exposure working with International Corporate.
• Ability to assist corporate customers with their day to day travel requirements.
• Working knowledge of the travel industry, policies, procedures, and processes
• Advanced skills in GDS Amadeus
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
