Job summary

FABgetaways in Ahmedabad is seeking a Travel Consultant to help members plan and book luxury travel experiences. You will recommend destinations, hotels, and itineraries aligned with client preferences and budgets, and manage inquiries and reservations.

Day-to-day you will handle amendments or cancellations, ensure accurate documentation, and maintain strong relationships with hotel and resort partners while supporting promotions and contributing ideas to improve the member experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in travel planning and end-to-end trip management.
• Ability to handle travel arrangements including hotels and packages.
• Strong customer service skills with empathy and problem-solving.
• Excellent English communication; other languages are a plus.
• Attention to detail in bookings, documentation, and payments.
• Familiarity with booking tools and travel platforms.
• Experience in luxury travel or hospitality is preferred.
• Diploma or degree in Travel & Tourism, Hospitality, Business, or related field.
• Ability to work on-site in Ahmedabad with a customer-centric mindset.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Travel Consultant role based in Ahmedabad. The Travel Consultant will assist members in planning and booking luxury travel experiences, including recommending destinations, hotels, and itineraries aligned with their preferences and budgets. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing travel inquiries, coordinating reservations, handling amendments or cancellations, and ensuring accurate documentation of bookings. The role also involves providing responsive customer service, resolving issues before and during travel, and maintaining strong relationships with hotel and resort partners. The Travel Consultant will work closely with internal teams to support promotions, share feedback from travelers, and contribute ideas for enhancing the overall member experience.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Travel Consulting and Travel Management to advise members and oversee end-to-end trip planning.
• Experience handling Travel Arrangements and Reservations, including hotels, packages, and related services.
• Proven Customer Service abilities, with a focus on responsiveness, empathy, and problem-solving.
• Excellent communication skills in English; proficiency in additional languages is an advantage.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in handling bookings, documentation, and payment-related information.
• Comfort working with booking tools, travel platforms, and standard office software.
• Prior experience in luxury travel, hospitality, or a related field is preferred.
• Relevant diploma or degree in Travel & Tourism, Hospitality Management, Business, or a similar discipline is beneficial.
• Ability to work collaboratively in an on-site team environment in Ahmedabad and adapt to a fast-paced, customer-centric setting.
