Qualifications

About the Role

We are looking for an SDE-1 Backend Developer with 1–4 years of hands‑on experience in backend development. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working with both Python and Node.js and have experience building scalable backend applications, REST APIs, databases, and microservices.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications.
• Build and integrate REST APIs using Python and Node.js.
• Work with backend frameworks such as Django, FastAPI, Flask, Express, or NestJS.
• Design and optimize database solutions using MySQL/PostgreSQL and MongoDB.
• Work with Elasticsearch for search and data retrieval requirements.
• Use Redis or Aerospike for caching and high-performance data access.
• Implement asynchronous processing and event-driven workflows using Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Develop and maintain microservices-based applications.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well‑tested code.
• Perform unit and integration testing using tools such as pytest, Jest, or Mocha.
• Use Git for source control and collaborative development.
• Containerize applications using Docker.
• Follow basic application security practices, including JWT/OAuth authentication and OWASP guidelines.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize backend applications for performance and reliability.

Must‑Have Skills
