Over the past 20 years, Amazon has reinvented on behalf of customers and has become the largest internet retailer and marketplace in the world. NOC (Network Operation Center) is the central command and control center for Transportation Execution across the Amazon transportation network. It ensures timely pick-up and delivery of freight from vendors to Amazon fulfillment centers (FC) and from Amazon FCs to carrier hubs. In case of any exceptions, NOC resolves the issues and keeps stakeholders informed. The NOC also analyzes network data to identify trends and proposes process improvements to streamline operations, ultimately supporting Amazon’s ability to serve customers on time. Within NOC’s umbrella resides a specific arm that manages inbound scheduling, Missing from Inbound (MFI), 3P pickups, vendor returns and invoice scanning operations across India (IN), AMET (South Africa, UAE, KSA, EGY and Turkey), Australia (AU), Japan (JP), Singapore (SG), Brazil (BR) and Mexico (MX).
A Transportation Specialist inbound at NOC facilitates the flow of information between stakeholders (Vendors/Sellers/Inbound Supply chain/category managers/Fulfillment centers) and resolves issues impacting vendor/seller experience and business continuity. This role focuses on inbound operations, including appointment scheduling at Fulfillment Centers requested by Vendors/sellers/carriers, ensuring trucks reach the FC for shipment delivery as per schedule. It addresses issues throughout the lifecycle of freight placement and unloading at FCs.
A Transportation Specialist provides timely resolution by researching internal tools and making real-time decisions. The candidate should understand requirements, analyze data to notice trends, and drive vendor/seller experience without compromising on time. A basic understanding of logistics and clear written and spoken communication are required. The role also demands ideating process improvements and driving them to completion.
A Transportation Representative at NOC facilitates flow of information between Warehouses/Category teams/Carriers and resolves issues that impact customer experience and business continuity. This role works across inbound operations, including planning freight for delivery in warehouses as per appointment times and addressing issues from forecasting to actual delivery.

NOC Inbound Team manages and owns the end-to-end execution of vendor/seller inbound shipments. This includes appointment scheduling and prioritization, appointment sidelining and rescue, appointment modification, and related processes across IN and ECCF countries.
