Sricity Education Foundation is seeking a Transport Coordinator to oversee daily operations of university transport services. You will plan routes, schedules, vehicle deployment, and monitor drivers and transport vendors, ensuring safety, compliance, and timely service.

The role requires coordination across departments for events and official travel, with focus on cost control, accuracy of transport records, and performance dashboards.

Job Description:

• Coordinate daily operations of University buses, cars, and other transport services.
• Plan and monitor routes, schedules, pick-up/drop-off points, and vehicle deployment.
• Coordinate and monitor drivers, transport vendors, and service providers.
• Ensure timely vehicle maintenance, servicing, fitness, insurance, permits, and statutory compliance.
• Monitor vehicle movement, attendance, trip sheets, fuel consumption, and transport records.
• Address transport-related queries, complaints, delays, and operational issues promptly.
• Ensure adherence to safety standards, traffic regulations, and University transport policies.
• Coordinate transportation requirements for events, academic activities, official travel, and emergency situations.
• Monitor transport costs and support initiatives for operational efficiency and cost optimization.
• Maintain accurate transport records, reports, schedules, and performance dashboards.
• Coordinate with Security, Facilities, HR, and other departments for smooth transport operations.
• Report major incidents, breakdowns, safety concerns, and operational issues to the Reporting Manager.

Qualifications & Experience

• Graduate in any discipline; qualification in Transport Management / Logistics will be an added advantage.
• 36 years of experience in transport coordination, fleet management, facilities, or a similar role, preferably in an educational or institutional environment.
• Good communication, coordination, vendor management, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and transport/fleet management systems.
• Valid driving licence and knowledge of local routes and transport regulations will be an advantage.
