Responsibilities

• Design overhead transmission lines with voltages of at least 345 kV.
• Develop loading, framing, assembly, plan and profile drawings.

Qualifications

• Experience with PLS‑CADD and PLS‑POLE software (mandatory).
• Optional experience with CAISSON and PLS‑TOWER software.
• Foundation design experience using MFAD and/or L‑Pile software.
• Experience in guy anchor design, tubular steel pole, and lattice tower design.
• Experience in detailed drilled pier foundation design, soil anchor design using helical piles and grouted anchors.
• 5–12 years of experience in the electric utilities sector, specifically overhead transmission.
• Strong knowledge of industry codes and recommendations such as NESC, RUS Bulletin 1724E‑200, CA‑PUC GO95, and ACSE standards 10, 48, 74, 91, 104, 123, and 141.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
• Visa status: B1/B2 or H‑1B.
