Job summary

InOpTra Digital is seeking a Transmission Design Engineer to perform the design and evaluation of overhead high-voltage transmission lines. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure compliance with utility standards and optimize designs.

The ideal candidate has a degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering, 6-15 years of experience, and proficiency in tools such as PLS CADD. The role is based in Bengaluru, India, with a preference for immediate joiners.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of experience in transmission design.
• Experience in high-voltage transmission lines and design evaluations.
• Strong understanding of utility standards.

Responsibilities

Transmission Design Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Perform structural and geometric design of overhead high-voltage transmission lines ranging from 66kV up to 400kV / 765kV and HVDC corridors
• Conduct structural evaluation of transmission line towers and poles
• Perform sag and tension calculations for transmission lines
• Prepare

• Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering and project teams
