Price Waterhouse Cooper LLP in Bengaluru is seeking a Transition Manager to lead end-to-end transitions of IT, digital, or shared services into the Global Capability Center (GCC). The role focuses on planning, coordinating, and executing transition activities, ensuring knowledge transfer and operational readiness.

The ideal candidate will have extensive consulting experience, strong stakeholder management, and a track record in large-scale transitions across geographies.

Formación

• 6–15 years of overall experience in consulting or corporate settings.
• 2+ years in transition management, shared services, GCC setup, outsourcing, BPO/ITO, or transformation programs.
• 3+ years of project management experience.

Transition Manager Global Capability Center (GCC) Setup & Operationalization

Job Purpose

The Transition Manager will lead the end-to-end transition of IT, digital or shared services operations into the Global Capability Center (GCC). The role is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing transition activities, ensuring knowledge transfer, operational readiness, governance adherence, risk management, and successful stabilization of services post go-live.

Experience

• Big 4 or Consulting experience will be an added advantage
• 6–15 years of overall experience
• Executive stakeholder management, leadership & influencing skills, communication & presentation, problem solving
• 2+ years in transition management, shared services, GCC setup, outsourcing, BPO/ITO, or transformation programs.
• 3+ years of project management experience
• Experience managing large-scale global transitions involving multiple stakeholders and geographies
• Prior experience in GCC setup, captive centers, shared services, or global business services (GBS) environments preferred
• Preferred Certifications : PMP / PRINCE2, PMI-ACP or Agile Certification, ITIL Foundation / Intermediate, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt, Change Management Certification

Key Responsibilities

1. Transition Strategy & Planning

• Develop comprehensive transition plans, migration waves, and cutover strategies
• Define transition scope, timelines, dependencies, milestones, and success criteria
• Design and establish transition governance, reporting cadence, and stakeholder communication plans
• Create and manage detailed project schedules and resource plans

2. Knowledge Transfer & Process Migration

• Lead Knowledge Transfer (KT), shadowing, reverse-shadowing, and handover/takeover activities.
• Ensure documentation, SOPs, process maps, and work instructions are complete and validated.
• Track KT effectiveness and readiness through defined quality gates.
• Coordinate with global process owners and business stakeholders.

3. GCC Operational Readiness

• Drive Day-1 readiness across people, process, technology, infrastructure, and facilities.
• Coordinate application access, IT enablement, asset provisioning, and workplace readiness.
• Validate service delivery processes, SLAs, workflows, and escalation mechanisms.
• Conduct readiness assessments and go-live reviews.

4. Program Governance & Risk Management

• Maintain RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, and Dependencies) logs
• Identify transition risks and implement mitigation plans
• Conduct steering committee reviews and program governance meetings
• Prepare weekly/monthly status reports and executive dashboards

5. Change & Stakeholder Management

• Engage business leaders, function heads, SMEs, and GCC leadership teams
• Drive change management and communication initiatives
• Manage stakeholder expectations throughout the transition lifecycle
• Facilitate decision-making and escalation management

6. Go-Live & Stabilization

• Execute cutover and go-live activities
• Lead hypercare and stabilization phases
• Monitor service performance against agreed SLAs/KPIs
• Drive issue resolution and operational maturity improvements
• Transition services from project mode to business-as-usual (BAU) operations

Education Qualifications

• MBA/PGDM preferred
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technology, Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
