Job summary

EXL in India seeks a Business Analytics professional to drive AI-enabled consulting engagements, translate business problems into data-driven solutions, and support AI-enabled reporting. You will conduct stakeholder sessions, map processes, and deliver executive-ready recommendations for transformation projects.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years in analytics or consulting, strong Excel/Power BI/Tableau skills, and a solid grasp of governance and data analytics concepts, with insurance domain

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in business analysis, consulting, analytics, or related roles.
• Strong analytical thinking and structured problem-solving skills.
• Experience in stakeholder interaction and requirement elicitation.
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and at least one visualization tool (Power BI / Tableau).
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
• Understanding of process improvement, data analytics, and digital transformation concepts.
• Prior work experience and knowledge in the Insurance domain will be preferred.
• Experience in working with AI tools and applications will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Participate in end-to-end delivery of AI-enabled consulting engagements—from proposal through final outputs.
• Structure problem statements, define analytical approaches, and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
• Analyze business processes and operational data to identify inefficiencies, root causes, and improvement opportunities.
• Conduct stakeholder workshops to capture processes, pain points, controls, data touchpoints, and AI enablement areas.
• Develop current- and future-state artifacts (process maps, SOPs, journey maps, RACI) aligned to AI-driven transformation.
• Perform data analysis and work decomposition to quantify impact, benefits, and business case value.
• Create executive-ready presentations, narratives, and deliverables for senior stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to validate insights, shape AI-driven solutions, and track emerging AI and industry trends.
