Job summary

Deloitte Shared Services India in Mumbai seeks a Deputy Manager for the Transfer Pricing team. You will build relationships with clients and lead TP engagements to exceed expectations. The role involves supervising a team on TP compliance and litigation matters, and providing strategic TP guidance for domestic transactions.

Qualifications

• CA or CS or MBA Finance required; Primer Institutes acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review Form 3CEB and Transfer pricing documentation.
• Prepare and review submissions, appeals, etc.
• Monitor a team handling transfer pricing compliance and litigation issues.
• Interact with clients to understand needs and requirements.
• Review DRP submissions and ITAT paper books for strategy.
• Ensure timely completion of initial TPO replies.
• Prepare service fee proposals for clients.
• Assist in pitching for new service opportunities with existing clients.
• Ensure cross-line integration with the transfer pricing team.
• Understand client business through regular meetings.
• Maintain rapport with local tax officers for smooth processing.
• Compile and summarize tribunal decisions for easier comprehension.
• Review transfer pricing reports for accuracy.
• Advise on transfer pricing applicability to domestic transactions.
• Assist with assignments related to Advance Pricing Agreements.
• Introduce best practices to optimize work.

Your work profile

As a Deputy Manager in our Transfer Pricing team youll build and nurture positive working relationships with teams and clients with the intention to exceed client expectations. Your role will include:

• Preparation and review of Form 3CEB and Transfer pricing documentation
• Preparation and review of submissions, appeals, etc.
• Monitoring a team of individuals to carry out transfer pricing compliance and litigation issues
• Interacting with clients on a regular basis to understand their needs and requirements
• Reviewing DRP submissions and ITAT paper books to determine optimum case strategy
• Ensuring timely completion and submission of initial TPO replies
• Preparing service fee proposals to be submitted to clients
• Providing assistance in pitching for new service chances with existing clients
• Ensuring cross line of service integration with the transfer pricing team
• Understanding client's business through regular meetings and interactions
• Maintaining a good rapport with the local tax officers to ensure smooth processing
• Compiling and summarizing tribunal decisions for easier comprehension
• Reviewing transfer pricing reports for their sanity and completeness
• Providing advice on applicability of transfer pricing to domestic transactions
• Assistance during for assignments related to Advance Pricing Agreements
• Introducing best practices whenever and wherever possible to optimize work
