The role requires 6+ years in transfer agency with strong communication, analytical and leadership skills, with readiness for night shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 6 years’ experience in transfer agency operations, senior/supervisory.
• Strong understanding of fund structures, investor servicing, and regulatory requirements (AML/KYC).
• Proficient in transfer agency systems and MS Office applications.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities with a customer focus.
• Ability to manage priorities and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
• Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee processing of investor subscriptions, redemptions, transfers, and switches.
• Review and authorise daily transaction reports and reconciliations.
• Escalate complex investor queries and provide prompt resolutions.
• Assist in AML/KYC procedures and onboarding of new funds and clients.
• Contribute to SOP development and process improvements.
• Mentor and train junior associates.
• Prepare management reports and participate in system upgrades.

Looking for candidate who will be responsible for create or amend shareholder database in TA system. Candidate should have good verbal & written communication .Preferable location Mumbai. Ready to work in any shift including night shift.

The Transfer Agency Senior Associate plays a pivotal role within the investment and funds management sector, ensuring the accurate and efficient administration of investor transactions and records. Reporting to the Transfer Agency Manager, this position involves overseeing daily operations, resolving complex queries, and supporting junior team members.

What you will be responsible for:

As a Team Lead you will:

• Oversee the processing of investor subscriptions, redemptions, transfers, and switches, ensuring all transactions adhere to regulatory and internal compliance standards.
• Review and authorise daily transaction reports and reconciliations, identifying and resolving discrepancies and exceptions.
• Act as a point of escalation for complex investor queries, providing prompt and professional resolution.
• Assist in the implementation and monitoring of anti-money laundering (AML) and know-your-customer (KYC) procedures.
• Support the onboarding of new funds and clients, liaising with internal departments and third-party service providers.
• Contribute to the development and documentation of standard operating procedures and process improvements.
• Mentor and train junior associates, providing guidance and support in their professional development.
• Prepare and deliver regular management reports, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Participate in system upgrades, user acceptance testing, and other projects as required.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant regulations, market developments, and best practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 6 years’ experience in transfer agency operations, preferably in a senior or supervisory capacity.
• Strong understanding of fund structures, investor servicing, and regulatory requirements (including AML/KYC).
• Proficient in using transfer agency systems and Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities, with a customer-focused approach.
• Ability to manage priorities and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
• Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical skills.
