Job summary

Paytm is seeking an experienced Trainer to design and deliver training programs for sales teams across lending products and processes. The role focuses on enhancing product knowledge, sales capabilities, and process adherence through engaging learning interventions and ongoing coaching.

Responsibilities include creating training content, conducting classroom, virtual, and field sessions, and collaborating with SMEs to align with business objectives.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in Sales Training or Learning & Development within Banking, NBFC, Fintech, or Lending domains.
• Design and deliver training programs for sales teams on lending products, sales processes, compliance requirements, and procedures.
• Develop and maintain training content including presentations, manuals, SOPs, assessments, and e-learning modules.
• Conduct classroom, virtual, and field-based training sessions for effective knowledge transfer.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to create practical and engaging learning experiences aligned with business goals.
• Evaluate trainee performance and identify learning gaps and improvement areas.
• Provide ongoing coaching to improve productivity, customer handling, and conversion.
• Monitor training effectiveness and recommend enhancements to methodologies and content.
• Ensure programs stay aligned with regulatory guidelines and evolving business needs.

Expectations/ Requirements:

• 6+ years of experience in Sales Training, Learning & Development, or Training Delivery within Banking, NBFC, Fintech, or Lending domains.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for enhancing product knowledge, sales capabilities, and process adherence through engaging learning interventions and continuous coaching initiatives.
• Design and deliver training programs for sales teams on lending products, sales processes, compliance requirements, and operational procedures.
• Develop and maintain training content, including presentations, training manuals, SOPs, assessments, and e-learning modules.
• Conduct classroom, virtual, and field-based training sessions to ensure effective knowledge transfer and skill development.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and subject matter experts to create practical and engaging learning experiences aligned with business objectives.
• Evaluate trainee performance through assessments, feedback, and performance tracking to identify learning gaps and improvement areas.
• Provide ongoing coaching and mentoring to sales teams to improve productivity, customer handling, and conversion effectiveness.
• Monitor training effectiveness and recommend enhancements to training methodologies, content, and delivery mechanisms.
• Ensure all training programs remain aligned with organizational goals, regulatory guidelines, and evolving business requirements.

Must Have: Should have good networking capabilities and be willing to travel extensively throughout their specified area. Skilled in coaching and mentoring, a quick learner who grasps and puts into application the new learnt ideas and concepts.

Superpowers/ Skills that will help you succeed in this role :

Strong understanding of lending products, sales processes, and customer acquisition practices.

Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

• Ability to create engaging training content and facilitate interactive learning sessions.
• Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Learning Management Systems (LMS) is preferred.

Educational Qualification -

• Graduate/Postgraduate in any discipline.
• Certification in Training & Development or Learning Facilitation will be an added advantage.
