Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced QA Lead to own and strengthen our quality strategy across a complex digital product. The ideal candidate will lead a small automation team, define testing standards, improve release confidence, and collaborate closely with Engineering and DevOps.This role requires strong hands‑on automation experience along with leadership and process maturity.

Key Responsibilities :

QA Strategy & Leadership

• Define overall QA strategy (manual + automation)
• Establish quality standards and best practices
• Create test plans for complex features
• Drive shift-left testing approach
• Define quality gates before release Automation Ownership
• Review and improve current automation framework
• Ensure stable and maintainable test architecture
• Increase automation coverage (UI + API + integration)
• Improve test reliability and reduce flaky tests
• Integrate automation with CI pipeline Team Leadership
• Mentor QA automation engineers
• Review test scripts and standards
• Help team grow technically
• Participate in hiring future QA members

Release & Risk Management

• Work with DevOps to support CI/CD pipelines
• Define release readiness criteria
• Identify high-risk areas in product
• Ensure regression coverage before deployments
• Participate in production issue

RCA Collaboration

Required Skills Technical Skills

Test automation frameworks (Selenium / Cypress / Playwright / etc.)

API testing (Postman / RestAssured / similar)

Test design strategies

• CI/CD integration knowledge (e.g., Jenkins or similar)
• Strong understanding of:

Regression testing

Smoke testing

Performance testing basics

Test data management

Infrastructure Awareness

• Understand environment setup dependencies
• Work closely with DevOps on staging & production validation
• Handle testing across multiple environments manually if needed
• Understand server-based deployments
