Job summary

Galaxy Surfactants Ltd. is seeking a Trainee Chemist in Quality to join the Quality Control team.

The role focuses on preparing and testing samples across multiple stages of manufacturing to ensure product quality aligns with organizational standards. The candidate should hold a BS or MS degree in Chemistry with up to 3 years of experience, and be comfortable working in a lab environment following GMP/ISO guidelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry with minimum 60% marks.
• 0–3 years of work experience in Quality Control or related fields preferred.
• Strong technical knowledge and familiarity with equipment maintenance and analysis methods.

Responsibilities

• Carry out RM, FG and In-process analysis of the product.
• Adhere to Safety, GMP and ISO standards in the lab.
• Monitor GLP status of the QA laboratory.
• Attend troubleshooting and COA generation tasks.
• Sample Incoming, in-process and finished goods analyses.
• Analyze samples as per specified methods and maintain records.
• Monitor process conditions as defined in the manual.

Position description: This position is a part of Quality Process under Quality Control, the main purpose is to prepare and test samples from all the phases of the manufacturing process to ensure that the product quality meets organizational standards

Primary Responsibilities:

• To carry out the RM, FG and In-process analysis of the product
• To follow the Safety, GMP and ISO standards practices
• To monitor GLP status of QA laboratory
• To attend the Troubleshoot and handle the COA generation
• To sample Incoming, in-process and finished goods analysis
• To carry out analysis of Incoming, in-process and finished goods analysis as per specification and method of analysis
• To Monitor process conditions as defined in manual
