Job summary

Saks Global in India seeks a detail-oriented Purchasing Operations Coordinator to process POs, coordinate with vendors, and monitor order status. You will work closely with Buying Offices, Planners, and Vendors to ensure timely delivery and accuracy.

You will maintain trackers, generate reports on buying activity and vendor performance, ensure adherence to SLAs, and support onboarding of new suppliers while providing regular performance updates to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Process purchase orders (POs) accurately and timely using relevant tools.
• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to confirm order details, delivery schedules, and resolve discrepancies.
• Prioritize orders based on urgency, business needs, and SLAs.
• Maintain internal trackers and databases to monitor order statuses, delivery schedules, and costs.
• Support onboarding of new vendors by collecting required documents and setting up records.
• Assist in generating reports on buying activity, order accuracy, and vendor compliance.
• Ensure adherence to SLAs and flag delays or exceptions to stakeholders.
• Work with Buying Offices, Planners and Vendors.
• Create and document best practices.
• Liaise between US Buying offices, vendors and Leadership team.
• Maintain workflow dashboard and reporting of business metrics.
• Provide regular reports on order status, vendor performance, and operational metrics.

Role Summary:

necessary.

Role Description:
