Job Description
- Draft, review, and negotiatecommercial agreements including lease/rental agreements, employment contracts,leave and license agreements, service agreements, revenue-sharing arrangements,NDAs, LOIs, and licensing documents.
- Conduct research on corporate,commercial, employment, and compliance topics and prepare clear, actionableresearch notes.
- Support trademark matters includingsearches, TM-A/TM-M filings, replies to examination reports, oppositionsupport, and prosecution tracking.
- Assist in due diligence exercises —reviewing documents, extracting key terms, building comparison sheets, andpreparing data summaries, particularly for mall and high-street retailagreements.
- Support POSH compliance workcomprehensively: policy drafting and review, Internal Committee documentation,compliance checklists, training materials, and advisory support.
- Assist with GCC and entity setupmatters including compliance notes, regulatory summaries, and documentationrelating to labour laws and data protection.
- Contribute to template development,process notes, and institutional knowledge within the practice.
- Support thought leadershipinitiatives including legal content for LinkedIn, client notes, and awarenesscontent on employment law and POSH compliance.
- Use Zoho tools for task management,internal communication, and workflow tracking.
Requirements
- LL.B. from a recognized institution;LL.M. or relevant certification is a plus.
- 0–3 years of experience in acorporate/commercial practice or law firm environment.
- Strong drafting, research, andanalytical skills.
- Familiarity with employment law,POSH compliance, and trademark prosecution is an advantage.
- Organised, self-driven, and able tomanage multiple deliverables under supervision.
- Proficient in MS Word; workingknowledge of Zoho tools preferred.
