Job summary

Rain Industries Limited in Hyderabad is seeking a Trainee-Account Receivable to support daily cash application, remittance processing and reconciliations within the Shared Services department.

The role targets fresh graduates or candidates with up to 1 year of experience, with a basic understanding of accounting principles and a willingness to learn. On-site work hours apply, with opportunities to contribute to month-end activities.

Qualifications

• Fresh graduates or candidates with up to 1 year of experience.
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review daily bank statements and remittance information received from customers.
• Apply customer payments to the correct invoices in the ERP system.
• Assist in identifying and resolving unapplied or unidentified cash receipts.
• Follow up with internal teams for missing payment information.
• Maintain accurate records of payment transactions.
• Support customer account reconciliations and payment investigations.
• Prepare basic reports related to cash application activities.
• Assist with month-end activities and documentation.
• Adhere to company policies, internal controls, and process guidelines.
• Participate in training and process improvement initiatives.
