Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mathematics / Applied Mathematics or a related discipline.

• Experience teaching Grades 9 and 10 is highly preferred.
• Experience with CBSE/ICSE curriculum will be an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of secondary-school Mathematics and examination patterns.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Mathematics lessons for Grades 9 and 10.
• Follow the prescribed curriculum and ensure timely completion of the syllabus.
• Build strong conceptual understanding, logical reasoning, and problem-solving skills.
• Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, question papers, and other teaching resources.
• Conduct regular class tests, assessments, and examinations.
• Evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback.
• Identify learning gaps and conduct remedial/support sessions where required.
• Prepare students effectively for Grade 10 board examinations.
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, assessments, and academic progress.
• Use digital tools, smart-class resources, and innovative teaching methodologies to enhance learning.
• Maintain a positive, inclusive, and disciplined classroom environment.
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress when required.
• Participate in staff meetings, training programs, school events, and other academic activities.
• Collaborate with the Mathematics department and academic leadership to improve student outcomes.

About the Role
