Role Overview
Credit Solutions EU (CS EU) operates across Illiquid Credit Trading, Liquid Asset Financing, Structured Credit Financing, and Insurance Risk Management. The desk seeks a Trading Enabler Associate who supports the trading desk in idea generation, pricing of new trades, booking activities, and performance monitoring.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform data analysis to identify potential trading opportunities and strategies.
- Analyze economic, industry, and company information and build detailed financial models.
- Support risk management activities, including risk analysis and scenario modelling for structured products.
- Handle reporting and trade capture, and evaluate rule‑based hedging strategies.
- Develop quantitative models and automation tools for pricing.
- Model structured financing transactions and adjust models to reflect regulatory or metric changes.
- Review legal covenants, termination triggers, and trade conditions to ensure risk capture in documentation.
- Conduct fundamental credit analysis and cash‑flow waterfall modelling of ABS, RMBS, CLO, and other securitized assets.
- Track and explain margin requirements, coordinate with collateral management teams on margin calls, and assist in dispute resolution.
- Work with other front‑office desks and internal teams involved in the trade lifecycle including risk, P&L, middle office, finance, and valuation groups.
- Enhance infrastructure used for pricing, risk management, P&L monitoring, and analytics.
- Monitor and manage funding requirements across active trades.
- Develop models that help determine accurate capital requirements for structured products traded by the desk.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant discipline.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Knowledge of short‑term interest rates and a willingness to deepen expertise.
- Understanding of bonds, loans, and swaps; familiarity with ABS or CLO products is beneficial.
- Interest in financial markets and a willingness to learn.
