Job summary

ACURA SOLUTIONS LTD is hiring a Relationship Manager for Trade Acquisition in Navi Mumbai to acquire New-to-Bank customers in domestic and international trade, build Current Account relationships, and drive business through Trade Finance and Forex products.

The ideal candidate brings extensive experience in Trade Finance and FX, with strong sales and relationship-management skills, and a willingness to travel to acquire customers. This is a fulltime role in Retail/Business Banking.

Qualifications

• 15 years of experience in Trade Finance, Forex, Transaction Banking, Business Banking or Retail/SME Banking.
• Graduate in any discipline; MBA/PGDM preferred.
• Strong understanding of LC, BG, Bill Collection, Import/Export and Forex products.
• Excellent sales, communication and negotiation skills.
• Willingness to travel extensively for customer acquisition.

Responsibilities

• Acquire New-to-Bank Current Account customers involved in Import/Export and international trade.
• Identify and target potential customers across relevant business segments and markets.
• Generate leads through open market sourcing, referrals, branch channels and existing networks.
• Understand customer business requirements and offer suitable Trade Forex solutions.
• Drive activation and usage of the first trade transaction after onboarding.
• Generate business through LC, BG, Bill Collection/Discounting, Trade Loans and Forex solutions.
• Coordinate with Credit, Operations, Trade Desk and Compliance teams for smooth customer onboarding and transaction execution.
• Ensure adherence to KYC, AML, RBI/FEMA and internal compliance guidelines.
• Maintain strong relationships with customers and ensure timely resolution of service-related issues.

Role Overview

The Trade Acquisition RM will be responsible for acquiring New-to-Bank customers engaged in domestic and international trade, building Current Account relationships, and generating business through Trade Finance, Forex and related banking products.

Key Responsibilities

• Acquire New-to-Bank Current Account customers involved in Import/Export and international trade.
• Identify and target potential customers across relevant business segments and markets.
• Generate leads through open market sourcing, referrals, branch channels and existing networks .
• Understand customer business requirements and offer suitable Trade Forex solutions .
• Drive activation and usage of the first trade transaction after customer onboarding.
• Generate business through LC, BG, Bill Collection/Discounting, Trade Loans and Forex solutions .
• Explore opportunities for Forward Contracts, FX transactions and other Trade/FES products .
• Maintain healthy Current Account balances / AMB and improve customer wallet share.
• Generate leads for Asset, Working Capital and other banking products .
• Coordinate with Credit, Operations, Trade Desk and Compliance teams for smooth customer onboarding and transaction execution.
• Ensure adherence to KYC, AML, RBI/FEMA and internal compliance guidelines .
• Maintain strong relationships with customers and ensure timely resolution of service-related issues.
• Monitor competitor activities and market trends to identify new business opportunities.
• Achieve assigned NTB, Trade Volume, Fee Income, FX Revenue and CASA targets .

Candidate Profile

• Graduate in any discipline; MBA/PGDM preferred.
• 15 years of experience in Trade Finance, Forex, Transaction Banking, Business Banking or Retail/SME Banking.
• Candidates with experience in Trade Forex / FES products will be preferred.
• Strong understanding of LC, BG, Bill Collection, Import/Export and Forex products .
• Excellent sales, communication and negotiation skills.
• Strong customer acquisition and relationship-management capabilities.
• Target-oriented with good market knowledge and networking ability.
• Willingness to travel extensively for customer acquisition.
