Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services is seeking a Tosca QA Engineer in Chennai with 8-10 years of experience. The role focuses on functional testing, automation using Tosca for Web and Desktop applications, and API testing with Postman or Tosca API modules.

The candidate will collaborate with developers and business analysts to craft robust test cases and ensure test coverage by integrating automation into CI/CD pipelines. Defect management with Jira and qTest is also part of the role.

Qualifications

• Must have strong knowledge of functional testing.
• Experience in developing, executing, and maintaining automated Tosca scripts for Web and Desktop apps.
• Proficient in API testing with Postman or Tosca API modules.
• Experience with Dex configurations and executions.
• Ability to collaborate with developers, BI/BA teams and stakeholders to design test cases.
• Ability to ensure test coverage by integrating automation within CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with defect management and test management tools like Jira and qTest.
• Knowledge of defect management processes is required.
