Job summary

Cloudxtreme in Bengaluru seeks a Quality Engineering Lead to guide a team of quality engineers, shaping end-to-end testing strategies and metrics across the application lifecycle.

You will collaborate with stakeholders to ensure high-quality delivery, implement testing processes, and drive defect resolution in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in TOSCA Testsuite.
• Strong understanding of automated testing frameworks and methodologies.
• Experience with test case design and execution.
• Familiarity with defect tracking and management tools.
• Ability to analyze and interpret testing metrics to drive improvements.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement TOSCA automation frameworks for functional, regression, and end-to-end testing.
• Build and maintain TOSCA modules, test cases, reusable components, and test data.
• Develop automation solutions using TOSCA features such as: TOSCA Commander, TOSCA TestCases, TOSCA ExecutionLists, API testing modules, TOSCA Distributed Execution (DEX).
• Good understanding of SDLC, STLC, and agile methodologies.
• Experience integrating TOSCA with CI/CD tools.
• Hands on with JIRA, Azure DevOps, or similar ALM tools. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Expected to be an SME.
• Collaborate and manage the team to perform.
• Responsible for team decisions.
• Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
• Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
• Mentor junior team members to enhance their skills and knowledge in quality engineering.
• Continuously evaluate and improve testing processes to ensure optimal performance and quality.

Project Role Description : Leads a team of quality engineers through multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration to accelerate delivery and drive quality across the application lifecycle. Applies business and functional knowledge to develop end-to-end testing strategies through the use of quality processes and methodologies. Applies testing methodologies, principles and processes to define and implement key metrics to manage and assess the testing process including test execution and defect resolution.
