Responsibilities

• Analyze existing tooling designs using CAD tools and implement improvements for efficiency and performance.
• Develop and test prototypes for new tooling and fixture designs.
• Collaborate with manufacturing plants to understand challenges and resolve technical issues.
• Execute engineering change orders (ECOs) and design updates as required.
• Design work holding fixtures and tooling solutions for various welding technologies with optimized inputs.
• Support new product development (NPD) by contributing to design and development of components and assemblies.
• Create 3D models, 2D drawings, and build detailed assembly documentation for tooling designs.
• Upgrade legacy drawings and models to current CAD platforms and standards.
• Ensure timely completion of projects while meeting both defined and evolving requirements.
• Develop and maintain Bill of Materials (BOMs) in ERP systems such as Oracle.
• Adhere to organizational quality systems and engineering standards.
• Take ownership of additional responsibilities aligned with business needs.
