Job summary

Hero MotoCorp is seeking a Team Manager for Engine Assembly in India to lead shift production and meet daily targets while optimizing resource use.

You will drive quality on the shop floor, implement TPM activities, ensure safety standards, and mentor operators on the assembly lines for continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• B.Tech in Mechanical engineering with 4-6 years of relevant work experience.
• Experience in shop floor TPM and quality control practices.
• Knowledge of 5S, TPM and IMS execution.

Responsibilities

• Control engine production on shift to meet daily targets.
• Improve process efficiency and reduce defects on the line.
• Lead TPM activities and strengthen DWM on the shop floor.
• Ensure safety SOPs are followed on the line.
• Mentor and train junior team members on the assembly lines.

Role

As a team manager you will be a part of the Engine assembly and will report to the Section Head-Engine Assembly
The purpose of your role will be handling Shift production in-charge of Engine Assembly and Meet Daily Production Target of Engine Assembly with optimum utilization of resources.

A purpose driven role for you

Your responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

• Controlling Engine Production in shift to achieve daily Production Targets
• Achieving Customer Delight through best quality control practices in shop floor
• Strengthening DWM activities on Shop Floor
• Improving Operational Efficiency by accelerating TPM Activities
• Proper manpower Handling

A Day in the life

• Ensure Smooth Running of Production as per target
• Ensure control of line stoppages
• Ensure Reduction in Flow of Defects to Customer
• Ensure All Safety Standard Operating Procedures are followed on line
• Ensure Improvement of Profitability through Controlling Cost parameters
• Improving TPM parameters 3s, JH scores and OLE scores of Assembly Lines
• Ensure Emotional Connect Between Mentor and Mentee
• Imparting Training and aiding OJT

Academic Qualification & Experience

B.Tech in Mechanical with 4-6 years of RelavantWork Experience

• Practitioner Level of 5S , TPM & IMS Execution.
