Job summary

Hero MotoCorp Ltd. is seeking a Team Manager in the Aluminium Phase - Quality Team to ensure defect-free products and processes. You will analyze failures, drive improvements, and audit CTQ stages while reporting to the Section Head - Engine Plant Quality.

Strong leadership and planning are essential to manage cross-functional quality initiatives. You will collaborate on CAPA projects, leverage QC tools, and apply GD&T and machining knowledge to maintain global quality standards across the

Qualifications

• Diploma / BTech in Mechanical Engineering required.
• Min 03-05 years of experience in manufacturing plants, preferably in two-wheeler industry.
• Sound knowledge of quality systems, QC tools, PFMEA, SPC and GD&T.

Responsibilities

• Analyze internal and external failures (rework, rejection, warranty issues).
• Identify and execute improvement projects to drive defect-free products and processes.
• Audit CTQ stages and ensure critical-to-quality control.
• Evaluate process and machine capability for sustained quality.
• Implement QM Matrix of CTQ machines and ensure effective operation.

• Identify/execute improvement projects
• Identify and audit Critical to Quality Stages.
• Evaluate Process and Machine Capability
• Implementation of QM Matrix of CTQ Machine.
• Effective Functioning of CTQ Machines.

A Day in the life

To plan, coordinate and execute the activities in the Aluminium Phase in order to Produce the First Time right Quality

Academic Qualification & Experience

Diploma / BTech in Mechanical Engineering
Min 03-05 year experience in Manufacturing plant in 2 Wheeler industry

Technical Skills/Knowledge

• MS Office, SAP .
• Understanding of Quality Systems , Usage of QC Tools , PFMEA , SPC , Why Why Analysis etc.
• Through Knowledge of Drawings , GD&T , Machining operations.
