Overview

We're hiring an Integrations Engineer to join our Integrations team. The primary focus of this role is supporting our web integrations, with a secondary focus on supporting the buildout of our mobile SDK. This role is well‑suited to a mid‑career engineer (3.5 to 5 years) who brings solid hands‑on development skills across web and mobile platforms, strong problem‑solving ability, and the communication skills needed to work directly with internal and external stakeholders.

Must Have - Core Requirements

• API & Integration Troubleshooting– Strong understanding of REST APIs, webhooks, request/response payloads, authentication mechanisms (OAuth, API keys, JWT), error handling, rate limits, and systematic troubleshooting of integration and data‑flow issues. Experience using tools such as Postman, cURL, or similar API debugging tools is preferred.
• Mobile Development Experience– Hands‑on experience developing and maintaining mobile applications to support the buildout of our SDK. Must be comfortable working across an iOS codebase, an Android codebase, and a React codebase.
• MarTech & Advertising Platform Expertise– Familiarity with marketing technology platforms and frameworks including Google Analytics, Google Ads, Campaign Manager 360 (CM360), Meta (Facebook/Instagram) advertising platforms, and Demand‑Side Platforms (DSPs). Understanding of how these systems integrate, share data, and support campaign measurement and optimization.
• Data & Event Tracking Concepts– Strong understanding of event schemas, data mapping, transformations, identity resolution, event tracking, first‑party data, and the movement of data between collection systems and downstream destinations.
• Version Control & Development Practices– Proficiency with Git and Git‑based development workflows, package management (e.g., npm), code reviews, and familiarity with CI/CD and deployment processes.
• English Communication Proficiency– Strong written and verbal English communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate technical goals and requirements to internal and external stakeholders, ask the right questions, explain technical solutions, and collaborate effectively in a distributed team.
• US Time Zone Availability– Must be available to work overlapping US business hours at least 50% of the time to support real‑time collaboration with the team.
• High Attention to Detail– Meticulous in implementation, documentation, validation, and QA to ensure precision and reliability across integrations and deliverables.
• Automation & Quality Mindset– Experience with automated testing frameworks (e.g., Cucumber/Gherkin) and maintaining test coverage for integrations. Familiarity with API, functional, regression, and end‑to‑end testing is a plus.
• Problem‑Solving & Ownership– Strong analytical skills with the ability to independently investigate ambiguous technical issues, identify root causes, and drive problems through to resolution.
• Communication & Documentation– Comfortable updating tickets for asynchronous collaboration and documenting solutions for reuse and learning.

Nice to Haves (Preferred Skills & Attributes)

• Go (Golang) Exposure– Working familiarity with Go‑based services and SDKs to support our forwarder/sink layer (Gin handlers, httpsink, warehouse/sink formatting) is a strong plus.
• Experience with Marketing APIs or Conversions Pipelines– Familiarity with Meta, Google, Snapchat, or similar ecosystems and their marketing/conversion APIs.
• CI/CD and Internal Tooling Exposure– Experience contributing to internal developer tools or acceleration frameworks, with proficiency in version control and deployment tools such as GitLab and package managers like npm.
• Cloud & Data Platform Exposure– Familiarity with AWS, GCP, or Azure and data platforms such as Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, Kafka, or similar technologies.
• SDK / Developer Tooling Experience– Experience building, maintaining, or troubleshooting SDKs, connectors, developer tools, or customer‑facing technical integrations.
• Client‑Facing Engineering Experience– Experience in a customer‑facing engineering, implementation, solutions engineering, technical consulting, or similar role is a strong plus.
