Integrations Engineer
Location: Remote (Bengaluru, India-based) · Employment type: Full-time · Experience: 3.5–5 years
About the role
We are hiring an Integrations Engineer to join our Integrations team. You will mainly build and support our web integrations, and also help build out our mobile SDK.
This role suits a mid-career engineer with solid hands-on development skills across web and mobile, strong problem-solving ability, and the communication skills to work directly with internal and external stakeholders.
What you will do
- Build, configure and maintain web integrations with third-party APIs, ad platforms, analytics tools, data lakes and data warehouses.
- Write production-ready TypeScript/JavaScript for client-side tracking: tag management, event collection and data layer interactions.
- Author and maintain Lua/YAML playbooks and kits that map, transform and route event data to downstream destinations.
- Contribute to the mobile SDK across the iOS, Android and React codebases.
- Investigate integration and data-flow issues end to end, from collection to destination, and drive them to root cause and resolution.
- Write and maintain automated tests (Cucumber/Gherkin and API, functional, regression and end-to-end tests) to protect integration quality.
- Work directly with internal teams and external partners and clients to understand goals, ask the right questions and explain technical solutions.
- Keep tickets current and document solutions so others can reuse them.
Must-have
- Integrations and external data systems:experience building and maintaining integrations with third-party APIs, data lakes and data warehouses. You understand user identity and data storage in web and mobile environments (cookies, local storage, IDFA and similar).
- Client-side development:production-ready TypeScript/JavaScript for tag management, event tracking and data layer work. You debug confidently with browser developer tools and can trace data from collection to destination.
- Declarative configuration and scripting:YAML, JSON and Lua playbook and kit authoring, plus comfort with CLI-based configuration and deployment.
- APIs and troubleshooting:strong grasp of REST, webhooks, payloads, authentication (OAuth, API keys, JWT), error handling, rate limits, idempotency, batching, pagination and retries. Hands‑on use of Postman, cURL or similar tools.
- Mobile development:hands‑on experience building and maintaining mobile apps or SDKs, and comfort working across an iOS codebase, an Android codebase and a React codebase.
- MarTech and advertising platforms:familiarity with Google Analytics, Google Ads, Campaign Manager 360 (CM360), Meta advertising platforms and DSPs, and how they share data and support measurement.
- Data and event tracking concepts:event schemas, data mapping, transformations, identity resolution, first‑party data, and how data moves from collection systems to destinations.
- Engineering practices:Git workflows, npm and package management, code reviews, and familiarity with CI/CD and deployment.
- Quality mindset:experience with automated testing frameworks such as Cucumber/Gherkin and maintaining test coverage for integrations. API, functional, regression and end‑to‑end testing is a plus.
- Ownership and attention to detail:you investigate ambiguous issues independently, find root causes, and are meticulous about implementation, documentation and validation.
- Communication:strong written and spoken English, clear ticket updates for asynchronous work, and well‑documented solutions.
- US time zone overlap:available during US business hours at least 50% of the time for real‑time collaboration.

How we work
This is a remote role for candidates based in Bengaluru, with at least 50% overlap with US business hours. Work is shared through tickets and documentation, so clear written updates matter as much as the code.
Success in the first six months looks like this
- You ship integrations that are accurate, tested and documented.
- You resolve data-flow issues independently and explain root causes clearly.
- You contribute to the mobile SDK across iOS, Android and React.
- Partners and internal teams trust your updates and your estimates.
