NTT DATA seeks a Testing Engineering Senior Specialist to fortify quality across Bengaluru projects, designing and maintaining automated test frameworks using Java, Selenium, TestNG, and Cucumber (BDD).

You will implement BDD with Gherkin, automate REST API tests via Rest Assured, and execute comprehensive functional, regression, and integration tests while collaborating with development and business teams to ensure thorough coverage and reliable releases.

Qualifications

• Ability to implement BDD test scenarios with Gherkin and collaborate with business and development teams.
• Proficiency in API testing with REST Assured and automated backend checks.

Responsibilities

• Automation tester - design, develop, and maintain robust automation test frameworks using Java, Selenium, TestNG, and Cucumber (BDD).
• Implement BDD test scenarios with Gherkin, working closely with business and development teams to ensure test coverage aligns with requirements.
• Automate API testing for RESTful services using Rest Assured.
• Execute functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing across web and backend systems.
• Perform database validation and backend data verification using SQL and Cassandra (NoSQL).
• Analyze test results, log defects with clear reproduction steps, and collaborate with developers for timely resolution.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and support continuous testing practices.
• Actively participate in Agile ceremonies—stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives—and contribute to the overall quality strategy.
• Maintain test code using Git, following best practices for version control and team collaboration.
• Continuously improve test coverage, framework performance, and QA processes.
