Job summary

Coforge is hiring a Test Specialist to design, develop, and execute automated tests using Katalon Studio in our Agile teams. You will contribute to functional testing, report on quality metrics, and collaborate closely with developers and product owners to ensure software quality.

The role requires 4–8 years of experience, strong knowledge of Katalon Studio, and hands-on Agile Scrum experience, with opportunities to mentor junior testers and drive continuous improvement across sprints.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using Katalon Studio.
• Conduct functional testing to ensure software meets business requirements and quality standards.

• Report test progress, defects, and quality metrics to stakeholders.
• Manage defect tracking and resolution processes, ensuring timely communication with development teams.
• Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives to contribute to continuous improvement.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior testers on best practices for testing and automation.
• Strong knowledge of functional testing methodologies and practices.
• Experience working in Agile Scrum teams.
• Ability to report on test progress and manage defect tracking effectively.
