Job summary

Cforge is seeking an Automation Tester in Hyderabad with 6-9 years of hands-on experience to design, develop, and maintain web automation tests using Java and Selenium WebDriver.

You will create automated test cases, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and execute functional, regression, and integration testing, while integrating tests with CI/CD pipelines and providing quality metrics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Strong experience with Java and Selenium WebDriver.
• Hands-on experience with TestNG/JUnit, Maven, and Git.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automation test scripts using Java and Selenium WebDriver.

Position: Automation Tester

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automation test scripts using Java and Selenium WebDriver.
• Create and execute automated test cases for web applications.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and QA teams to understand requirements and test scenarios.
• Perform functional, regression, smoke, and integration testing.
• Identify, log, track, and verify defects using defect management tools.
• Integrate automation scripts with CI/CD pipelines.
• Prepare test reports and provide quality metrics to stakeholders.

Required Skills

• Strong experience in Java and Object-Oriented Programming (OOPs).
• Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver and Test Automation Frameworks.
• Experience with TestNG/JUnit, Maven, and Git.
• Understanding of API testing using Postman/Rest Assured.
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.
• Strong debugging and analytical skills.

Good to Have

• Experience in Cucumber (BDD).
• Knowledge of SQL and database testing.
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).
• Performance testing exposure using JMeter.
