Job summary

Tech Mahindra is seeking an experienced QA/Functional Testing professional to lead testing across telecom systems, CRM, and middleware integrations. You will define strategies, design tests, and mentor a team to ensure high-quality delivery of customer journeys and business processes.

The role emphasizes end-to-end testing of PTT/VoIP services, API/middleware validation, and close collaboration with analysts, product owners, and developers. Strong JIRA experience is required.

Qualifications

• 812 years of experience in QA / Functional Testing
• 35+ years of Telecom domain experience, preferably in BSS/CRM systems
• Strong experience in functional testing of CRM systems (Microsoft Dynamics preferred)
• Experience in end-to-end business process testing (Order-to-Cash, Customer Lifecycle)
• Good understanding of API integration and middleware flows (Software AG / ESB)
• Experience in testing telecom services such as PTT / VoIP / real-time communication systems
• Hands-on experience with test case design, execution, and defect lifecycle management
• Experience in JIRA or similar tools for defect and test management
• Strong understanding of test documentation (Test Cases, RTM, Test Reports)
• Excellent stakeholder communication and coordination skills

Responsibilities

• Lead functional testing and validation across telecom systems ensuring high-quality delivery
• Define and execute functional test strategy, design and execution for telecom BSS/OSS systems
• Lead end-to-end functional testing across CRM, Middleware, CTI/IVR, and integrated platforms
• Drive validation of business processes including Customer Lifecycle, Order-to-Cash, and Customer Service Management
• Ensure comprehensive testing of PTT service workflows such as onboarding, provisioning, group communication, and session management
• Design and manage test scenarios, test cases, and test data aligned to business requirements
• Validate CRM functionalities including customer profile, interactions, case management, notifications, and sales journey
• Perform integration validation with middleware (APIs, ESB flows) ensuring seamless system interactions
• Support testing of contact center operations, IVR flows, and CTI integration with CRM
• Coordinate with data teams for functional validation of CDR, reporting, and data consistency
• Identify, log, and track defects using JIRA, ensuring timely resolution and retesting
• Collaborate closely with business analysts, product owners, and development teams
• Ensure test coverage, traceability (RTM), and quality standards are maintained
• Participate in UAT support and business validation cycles
• Drive functional regression testing and test optimization initiatives
• Mentor and guide functional testing team members for consistent delivery
