Job summary

In Time Tec is seeking a QA specialist to join the team and ensure test coverage mirrors how a telecom operator actually operates, catching domain-specific edge cases a generic QA engineer would miss.

You will translate requirements into test scenarios, validate UAT against telecom business rules, and build a domain-driven regression library for ongoing testing.

Qualifications

• 4-7 years of QA/testing with telecom or subscription-billing exposure.
• Strong grasp of telecom billing/subscription lifecycle edge cases.
• Ability to write clear, domain-grounded test cases and defect reports.

Responsibilities

• Translate domain requirements into test scenarios and acceptance criteria - mid-cycle plan upgrades/downgrades, prorated billing, bundle discounting, partner commission recalculation, hardware-plus-service co-termination.
• Identify telecom-specific edge cases that generic QA coverage would miss - regulatory reporting formats, multi-tier partner billing, IoT device lifecycle billing.
• Validate UAT results against real-world telecom business rules before features are handed back to the client for sign-off.
• Build and maintain a domain-specific test case and regression library for the platform.
• Liaise directly with the clients QA and business counterparts to close domain gaps identified during testing.

Must-Have Skills Experience

• 4-7 years in QA/testing with meaningful exposure to telecom or subscription-billing domains.
• Strong grasp of telecom billing/subscription lifecycle edge cases.
• Ability to write clear, domain-grounded test cases and defect reports that a non-domain engineer can act on.

Nice-to-Have

• Test automation exposure.
• ISTQB certification.
• Familiarity with TM Forum test/certification frameworks.

Education

Engineering Graduate with experience in the Telecom domain.
