Job summary

Siemens Mobility in India is seeking a Test Engineer 2 to support AI‑enabled automation and testing across our engineering platforms. In this role you will design and maintain AI‑assisted automation frameworks and drive testing strategies that align with business goals.

You will mentor associate engineers, perform automated testing, debug complex code, and deliver AI‑driven defect analyses. The ideal candidate has 2–4 years in test automation and a passion for innovative QA using AI tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Computer Science or related discipline; or equivalent work experience.
• 2–4 years of experience in test automation including AI enabled testing.
• Extreme Ownership of automation frameworks and overall product quality.
• Insatiable Curiosity to explore new AI‑assisted testing tools and frameworks.
• Customer‑Centric Focus to understand how testing impacts end‑user experience.
• Relentless Execution to ensure testing strategies are implemented with precision.
• Strong knowledge of Java, REST Assured, Selenium, API testing, CI/CD pipelines.
• Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, OOP, databases, SQL, and web programming.
• Hands‑on experience with AI‑assisted automation tools or willingness to learn emerging Gen AI QA platforms.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
