Job summary

Siemens Mobility is seeking an Associate Test Engineer (Automation) to support application platforms in the Engineering department. This role offers hands-on experience with AI-assisted testing tools and modern automation frameworks to deliver high-impact software solutions.

You will develop AI-enabled test scripts, investigate defects, and collaborate with senior QA engineers to implement self-healing frameworks while learning AI-first testing strategies on aggressive timelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Computer Science or related discipline.
• 0–1 years of experience in software testing or development.
• Strong foundation in data structures, algorithms, object-oriented programming, databases, SQL, and web programming.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain AI-assisted test scripts from functional and technical designs, leveraging Gen AI tools for faster script generation.
• Investigate defects for root cause, applying AI-powered analysis for faster resolution.
• Collaborate with senior QA engineers to implement self-healing test frameworks and AI-driven test data generation.
• Learn and apply AI-first testing strategies, including automated regression and functional testing.
• Ability to multitask and stay organised in a dynamic work environment.
• Track defects to closure and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
