Job summary

A leading IT services company in Chennai is seeking a Test Engineer with a focus on TCP/IP and strong scripting capabilities. This role involves product testing, debugging issues, and automation scripting. Ideal candidates will hold a Bachelor's degree in a related field and possess skills in Docker, Kubernetes, and various testing methodologies. Candidates should be able to interact effectively with development teams to resolve customer issues within required timeframes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in relevant fields.
• Good knowledge of TCP/IP and L2 and L3.
• Exposure to extreme scripting practices.
• Familiarity with visual testing, API testing and basic SQL/DB checks.
• Exposure to TR-069 and TR369/TR98 test suites is advantageous.
• Experience with test planning for E2E scenarios and debugging
• Ability to own tasks and coordinate with customers and product teams

Test Engineer: Key Skill- TCP/IP ,L2 and L3,TR98,TR369 Selenium/Playwright, Java/Python,

This role requires a technical excellence in the areas defined below.

Responsible for product testing, debugging issues and automation scripting

Interacts with the product development and testing team to understand product and used during customer issues debugging and support

Solving skills and robust thinking technically

Responsibilities

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor or above, telecommunication, electronic engineering, computer science, or related major preferred
• Good Knowledge about TCP/IP and L2 and L3 understand is preferred
• Good Knowledge in docker, Kubernetes and linux
• Good to have skills in Visual testing, API testing, Basic SQL/DB validation
• Good exposure to TR-069, added advantage
• Experience with TR369/TR98 tests with agent and controller
• Good knowledge in writing test plan for features in E2E testing
• Good knowledge in functional, performance and soak testing
