Job summary

ALTEN India is seeking a skilled Test Engineer in Bengaluru to lead electrical and electronic testing for electromechanical systems. The role covers motor testing across AC/DC, BLDC and servo motors, circuit validation, and fault diagnosis using oscilloscopes.

The ideal candidate will read schematics, execute test plans, analyze data, and produce detailed reports while collaborating with design teams to improve product quality.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of electrical and electronic engineering fundamentals.
• Hands-on experience in motor testing (AC/DC, BLDC, Servo Motors, etc.).
• Proficiency in using oscilloscopes for signal measurement and fault diagnosis.
• Experience with electronic circuit testing and debugging.
• Good knowledge of sensors, actuators, power electronics, and control systems.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and test specifications.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct performance, functional, and reliability testing of AC/DC, BLDC, Servo Motors, and related drive systems.
• Utilize oscilloscopes and other test instruments for signal analysis, measurement, and troubleshooting.
• Execute electronic circuit testing, debugging, and root cause analysis of failures.
• Validate the performance of sensors, actuators, power electronics, and control systems.
• Interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and test specifications to develop and execute test plans.
• Document test results, analyze data, and generate detailed test reports.
• Collaborate with design and development teams to resolve technical issues and improve product quality.
