Job summary

Rohde & Schwarz in Delhi is seeking a software quality test automation professional to absorb international standards and collaborate across teams in India and Germany. You will develop and customize test automation modules, establish CI/CD environments, and run comprehensive software tests to ensure quality gates are met.

The role requires a CS/ICT engineering degree, 0–5 years of experience, strong English skills, and a proactive, team‑oriented mindset with a willingness to learn.

Qualifications

• Completed degree in Computer Science, Computational Engineering, Information and Communication Technology or comparable.
• Knowledge in the field of test automation using Python and current standard test frameworks desirable.
• Proven work experience of 0‑5 years.
• Knowledge in the areas of Software Engineering desirable.
• Basic knowledge in the areas of Continuous Integration, Continuous Deployment (CI/CD).
• Excellent spoken and written English language skills.
• Independent, goal‑oriented working style.
• Eager to learn.
• High level of teamwork skills with corresponding communication competence.

Responsibilities

• Absorption of processes, quality standards and test protocols from R&S Germany.
• Prepare software quality test protocols based on guidelines.
• Cross‑functional collaboration with RS India and RS Germany, including occasional business trips to Germany.
• Develop and customize test‑automation modules and maintain existing modules.
• Establish test‑automation environments for application software modules/updates.
• Work closely with development teams to provide quality gate feedback and support re‑verification after implementation of feedback.
• Run software tests, including failure analysis.
• Configure and administer needed CI/CD pipelines.
