Job summary

TVS Next in Bangalore is seeking a Test Automation Engineer with 8–10 years of experience to lead web testing and automation.

Design and execute tests with Azure Test Plans, Gherkin/SpecFlow, and build automation using C#, Selenium WebDriver, NUnit, and Page Object Model.

Perform API testing with Postman/RestSharp, validate data in SQL, and drive end-to-end validation via Azure CI/CD in a hybrid onsite/work setup.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of experience in software testing with strong expertise in Test Automation.
• Strong hands-on experience in C#, Selenium WebDriver, NUnit, and Page Object Model.
• Experience with Azure CI/CD pipelines and Gherkin/SpecFlow for BDD.

Responsibilities

• Perform manual and automation testing for web applications across functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end scenarios.
• Design, create, and execute test cases using Azure Test Plans, BDD, Gherkin, and SpecFlow.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts using C#, Selenium WebDriver, NUnit, and Page Object Model.
• Perform API testing using Postman/RestSharp and validate data using SQL.
• Manage test automation code using Git and execute end-to-end tests through Azure CI/CD pipelines.
• Take ownership of end-to-end testing activities, including test documentation, reports, verification, and validation.
• Leverage GitHub Copilot/Copilot tools and MCP integration to support test automation initiatives.

About The Job

We are looking for a Test Automation Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in C#, Selenium WebDriver, NUnit, Page Object Model, API Testing, SQL, and Azure CI/CD. The role focuses on web application testing, test automation, BDD, end-to-end testing, and verification & validation, with exposure to GitHub Copilot and MCP integration for test automation.

What You'll Do

What We Seek In You

• 8–10 years of experience in software testing with strong expertise in Test Automation.
• Strong hands‑on experience in C#, Selenium WebDriver, NUnit, and Page Object Model.
• Strong understanding of Functional, Regression, Integration, and End‑to‑End Testing, along with SDLC/STLC.
• Hands‑on experience with Gherkin, SpecFlow/BDD, Azure Test Plans, Git, and Visual Studio.
• Good knowledge of SQL and database handling, including data validation.
• Experience in API Testing using Postman/RestSharp and strong understanding of web elements and browser interactions.
• Experience with Azure CI/CD pipelines for executing automated tests.
• Familiarity with GitHub Copilot and MCP integration for test automation.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, communication, and collaborative skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with AI‑assisted Test Automation, GitHub Copilot, and MCP.
• Experience in Windows‑based application testing and patch validation.
• Exposure to enterprise‑level verification and validation activities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
