Job summary

NTT DATA Global Delivery Services Ltd in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India is seeking a Senior Test Automation Engineer to design and implement test automation for web applications using Selenium WebDriver and Playwright. The role requires experience with Cypress, TestNG/JUnit, BDD (Cucumber), Java/JS/TS, REST API testing, CI/CD, and database validation.

Collaboration with Jira/Azure DevOps and cloud/Docker/Kubernetes ecosystems is expected.

Qualifications

• Experience in test automation for web applications using Selenium WebDriver and Playwright.
• Strong knowledge of Java, JavaScript, or TypeScript for test scripts.
• Proficiency with API testing (Postman, REST Assured) and database validation (SQL).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps).
• Experience with Jira/Confluence and version control.

We are currently seeking a Test Automation Selenium WebDriver Playwright to join our team in Bengaluru, Karnātaka (IN-KA), India (IN).

Required Technical Skills

• Test Automation Selenium WebDriver Playwright or Cypress
• TestNG or JUnit
• BDD frameworks (Cucumber preferred)
• Programming Languages: Java, JavaScript or TypeScript
• SQL API Testing Postman REST Assured REST APIs JSON/XML validation
• CI/CD & DevOps Jenkins GitHub Actions GitLab CI/CD Azure DevOps
• Databases: Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MongoDB (preferred)
• Defect Tracking & Collaboration Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience testing React-based web applications.
• Experience validating Spring Boot microservices.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes environments.
• Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner.
• Experience with accessibility testing (ADA/WCAG).
• Experience in financial services, healthcare, or regulated industries.
