Job summary

Citi in Gurgaon, India is seeking a Quality Intermediate Analyst to join our Operations Quality team. You will apply analytical thinking and data analysis methods to review quality, support process improvements, and guide less senior analysts with practical, scalable solutions.

You will partner with Senior Management to address broader quality issues, develop procedural guidance, and ensure timely, accurate reporting while upholding Citigroup standards and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years relevant experience in consumer banking, customer service or data management.
• Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience applying data analysis methods to quality review processes.

Responsibilities

• Leads quality control reviews independently using data analysis tools.
• Assesses variable quality issues with potential broader business impact.
• Applies professional judgment when interpreting quality data.

The Quality Intermediate Analyst is a developing professional role. Deals with most problems independently and has some latitude to solve complex problems. Integrates in-depth specialty area knowledge with a solid understanding of industry standards and practices. Good understanding of how the team and area integrate with others in accomplishing the objectives of the subfunction/ job family. Applies analytical thinking and knowledge of data analysis tools and methodologies. Requires attention to detail when making judgments and recommendations based on the analysis of factual information. Typically deals with variable issues with potentially broader business impact. Applies professional judgment when interpreting data and results. Breaks down information in a systematic and communicable manner. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to exchange potentially complex/sensitive information. Moderate but direct impact through close contact with the businesses' core activities. Quality and timeliness of service provided will affect the effectiveness of own team and other closely related teams.

Responsibilities:

• Independently leads quality control reviews, applying analytical thinking and knowledge of data analysis tools and quality review methodologies.
• Typically deals with variable quality issues with potentially broader business impact.
• Applies professional judgment when interpreting quality review data.
• Develops non-routine procedural documentation, guidelines, manuals, and reports.
• Works with Senior Management to address and resolve broader quality issues.
• Provides guidance to lower level analysts.
• Applies good understanding of how the team and area integrate with others in accomplishing the goals of the sub function / job family.
• Deals with most problems independently and has some latitude to solve complex problems.
• Integrates in-depth specialty area knowledge with a solid understanding of industry standards and practices.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in area of consumer banking, customer service or data management or control function
• 2-5 years relevant experience
