Qualifications

The person in the role will be expected to define appropriate test strategies including various aspects of automation testing for the respective programs/projects, co-own the test plan. The person is expected have strong understanding and experience of agile delivery and testing practices, to drive high levels of automation and efficiencies, drive adoption of toolsets in line with the organizational direction and connect to the wider delivery and testing community within the organization to share best practices. The person is expected to have a high degree of connect with the external environment to sense market trends on related technologies and practices and help bring innovation and provide thought leadership to the overall department and the wider organization. The key outcomes shall be (but not limited to) to create a culture of automation keeping DevOps principle of speed and quality in mind. Candidate would be expected to have exposure to Cloud concepts with respect to testing. The role shall ensure that other tech experts are well guided/mentored, and the work gets delivered as per tech strategy and guidelines.
